Pros

Great pay & Work From Home

Cons

KF publishes great content that they do not practice. Last years RIF's cut the people doing the work and not enough management. Way too many management levels even when work loads & team sizes shrink. Micro managing is allowed. Anyone above your team lead is unknown until there's a problem - then they call a meeting and scold you like children. They don't ask questions or trust that the team may not be the problem nor do they try to find out where the problem is. Many more issues than listed here and they can't figure out why accounts are in the red.

Pros

Remote work - that’s about it

Cons

Unrealistic KPIs - making it harder to bonus (you never know what you’re truly getting). Severance package was a joke - shows how much their care about you Even when your billing and have clients/deals happening they lay off some of their best employees to pocket the money HR team has no personality and really has no idea what’s going on. Not able to answer questions during layoff and provide insight. Offers “career counseling” LOL, that’s funny. Honestly I have nothing good to say about them. Just know, you’re a number and not a person. They don’t care about you, only about lining their pockets.

Pros

Internal team was amazing! They were the best at collaborating and were extremely talented.

Cons

Korn Ferry is really a company that lacks integrity and transparency. I am not sure how some rate it well as it is well known that this company does not care for its employees. Layoffs are constant... no one ever feels safe which creates a toxic environment across teams. People don't want to collaborate because they are afraid that they will be the ones to go if they "share" in success. Benefits are extremely expensive, NO RAISES you must get promoted and trying to get promoted is impossible because there is no clear path for anyone to be promoted. It's all based on a committee who votes for a number of promotions twice a year and no one knows what the qualifications are... so growth is impossible. As for bonuses, it's a joke. No transparency on that either. The CEO and a few senior leaders pat themselves on the back with large raises while they lay people off each quarter and right before the holidays. There is no clear goals within the company... everything is reactive. For a company that is supposed to understanding organizational effectiveness... hahahaha... we don't see it internally. It's a mess! There is so much I can say negatively... but word of advice... don't bother. Keep looking because there is much better out there!
