Pros

Well known name. Talented people

Cons

The worst leadership I've ever seen in my career. They do not drink their own kool-aid and do the opposite of what we recommend and sell to clients. They let go of people without a second thought to the employee, team or client. You are a just number here- 1 of 8000. Unless you are part of the 'good ol boys club' you will not advance here, or have a say in anything. 8 layers deep for any decision or approval which is like working for the sales prevention team. If you are in sales, I would run from this place. I've never been more disappointed in a company and its unethical and irresponsible business practices. Gary may put on a good show through social media and webinars, but he is completely detached from reality of the employees and is only focused on the shareholders vs his own employees. If you want to be a valued member of a team, don't join this company.

Pros

Really great people to work with, nice variety of clients and tasks.

Cons

Completely opaque management, making unnecessary cuts to staff and wages despite previously bragging about profits and sending out messages of hope and how to use some of the downtime during the crisis to self-improve. Instead of following through on this, however, they cut our pay (AFTER the crisis has started to pass and a lot of business is picking up again, mind you). Even before this, earning a pay rise or decent bonus is impossible even when you consistently exceed expectations and perform excellent work for your clients in tough assignments. They talk a lot about development but internal training is a joke, the internal search tools are wholly inadequate for their intended function (despite, again, bragging about our advanced search engine to any client that will listen).

Pros

Has global recognition in its specific industry, locations spread across the world, offers solid career opportunities if you are interested in consulting and/or recruiting services. Pockets within the company have some really smart people who are honestly passionate about their work and believe in it.

Cons

Company is about their numbers - focused on acquiring other companies rather than growing and developing their own people. Has significant "reductions in staff" at least once or twice every year - company-wide. Extremely difficult to move up the ladder, especially if you are wishing to move from one area to another. Still has remnants of the old 80s US corporate culture (i.e., white and male).
