Pros

The overall culture of the company is good. Not a lot of drama compared to other companies. Most departments are considerably professional. If there is ever an issue, HR addresses it with understanding and professionalism. No retaliation policy. A pension is offered along with regular medical benefits, vacation and sick days, and 401k. Most managers will try to work with you to make sure you feel fulfillment in role and help you grow. But the opportunity for growth is limited for employees who do not have an engineering degree.

Cons

Almost every position is leading toward requiring an Engineering degree. Only a few career level positions left that see anything other that an Engineering degree as being sufficient. Medical benefits were recently decreased and the cost went up a little for 2016. They can be quick to walk someone out if they know you have applied outside the company, especially with a competitor. They are a more traditional company and are not keeping up with the progressive companies that offer different ways to increase employee morale. This may need to be looked in to since they have been hiring and continue to hire a lot of new grads.
