      Good people, great learning

      Pros

      - People here are top notch, could give almost anyone a key to your house and not lose any sleep over it. - Have had a ton of growth since starting here, learned applicable job experience - Healthy balance of work and home life - Best food in town

      - Strict 8-5 hours - Only 2 weeks vacation until 5 years

      Pros

      Due to the culture Koch has unlimited opportunity if you are a self driver. There is a fantastic challenge culture that helps motivate and give opportunity to all employees, no matter what the level. There is also a great work life balance and support from supervisors.

      Cons

      The culture is very different than at most companies which can be an adjustment for some when they come in mid career. The compensation and benefits are also a little bit different than at most companies which can be difficult to understand.

      Pros

      When Koch says they hire on virtues before talent, they truly mean it — I'm a living example. I've held two roles in my tenure so far at Koch — one where I've had prior experience and my current one, which is/was a stretch role. Based on my values, I was given an opportunity I did not expect as part of my career trajectory. It gives me great respect for this company and its leadership and shows me we actually live out our Guiding Principles. They are so much more than simply a poster on the wall.

      Cons

      With a company our size, there will inevitably be folks who slip through the cracks when it comes to values and principles. I've worked with people who do not live out the Guiding Principles. I've also seen those people have a short tenure at Koch. I also think, at times, there is to much bureaucracy in getting things accomplished or trying new things.
