Pros

Partnership structure encourages and rewards individuals with the ambition to carve out their own 'business' within the umbrella organisation. If you are a meeker soul though, you may end up working for someone heading up the partnership ladder faster than you and resent it. Great range of roles locations, and property specialisms available. One of the oldest and most reputable property companies in the world. Company is debt free and highly profitable, so both eyes don't always have to be on the boss' bottom line which helps to build client relationships. Bonuses based on departmental profitability, individual position and contribution to the departmental budget. Nice to work for a firm that recycles all profits internally - yes the equity partners take a lions share, but virtually all have been at the firm +20years.

Cons

IT team are unresponsive and the partnership structure can make strategic decision making (such as major acquisition of new resources) slow & difficult. The company is a bit like an oil tanker - takes ages to turn, but very hard to stop once everyone has decided to head in the same direction.
