Pros

Nice people to work with, most people got a long with one another. Lots of great after-work stories and even helped catch thieves! My favorite memory was catching a teenage boy stealing alcohol. I tackled him and nearly got myself fired but with high fives from the managers lol. I also talked a guy down from suicide and he gave me 100 dollars in a random visit at Christmas. Life is full of little surprises.

Cons

Horrible pay, even for being a college student or teenager. Too much work for what you were given. Sore feet at the end of the day all the time. A few managers were jerks and favored women over men.

Pros

Coworkers are great to work with and hours are flexible. There is also an excellent employee discount program.

Cons

Minimum wage with no raises (even when promoted to supervisor), poor management, company overall is failing with no new stores opened since 2004 with several closed. Also, the equipment is very outdated and barely functional, company won't sell the latest technology, and stores have a very dated look with no plans to remodel. Products constantly out of stock and ton of empty shelf space.

Pros

You learn how to be a efficient worker, get basic sales experience. They also give you one hour lunches if your scheduled for 9 hours or more.

Cons

Expectaions can be flat out ridiculous, management can be often times harsh when its not necessary and very inconsiderate. Also the managers often don't acknowledge you when your doing job competently but they do come down on you hard when you make even little mistakes. Although they did eventually honor my part time schedule the hours can be at times very long and exhausting. All in all for the pay rate you make(which isn't good at all near or below minimum wage)for the greif you have to put up with, lack of acknowledgment raises promotions even when deserving i would not reccomend working for this company unless you have zero experience or otherwise struggling to find a job.
