If you ask for time off, it's almost always granted. Often times, managers will let you work autonomously.

Cons

Good employees are penalized by being forced to complete unrealistic tasks to compensate for work not being done by associates.

Ok on the whole, but lack of store management respect regarding ancillary personnel needs

Pros

Direct pt contact w/ no drive through. Ability to set schedule with partner. Very little day to day interference from management. Great learning environment for new pharmacist.

Cons

Extremely poor respect/response from some store management regarding tech/cashier help. Leading to clinically dangerous situation. No one person can multitask phone, computer, insurance, counter, fax machine, order, IVR, e-Rx, and cash register in a 150+ store. There was no back up from above local or higher up regarding situation.

Pros

Obviously everywhere is different, but I always received good feedback on how my work was and there was a lot of communication between associates and managers. Fairly easy job.. I don't think they have super high expectations. The biggest Pro would have to be how well they work with your schedule. Whether it be school, another job, etc. they would always work around things for me.. great for a student.

Cons

Low pay-minimum wage, which is typical for this job type. They put out sales when they don't have the merchandise.. pretty much to lure people in. Things are often overpriced. I legit felt bad for customers much of the time. Sometimes not that many hours.. especially in the summer/if your new.
