Pros

Hard to think of pros, variety of interactions, good as a temp job, variety of positions, large group, variety of hours available. alot of the other associates were nice and team players

Cons

inneffective communication between cashiers and other associates for aid. late or frequent changes in scheduling and ironically requiring 3 weeks notice for a day off. Not modern, usually dilapadated. Inconsistencies in managment and procedures. Broken registers, not fixed within a half year working. Promotions of managers based on sales. Improper break and lunch scheduling then receive reprind for not taking either at the same time. High turnover. Very disorganized, no aisle numbers. Confusing rewards programs, and lack of understanding among management on policies. Not many opportunites given for Cashiers to learn the layout or departments. They want Cashiers to push the rewards cards way too hard. They told us if we do not get the listed amount a shift, the lowest being about 8 in a four shift to a max 18 in the same shift a shift we will get written up Most people have them already and the people that don't really do not want one. They even have Cashier "walk the floor" and interrupt customers to solicit a sign up. A lot of friendly associates but morale cuts productivity. Prices are that great only when "sales". Horrible bathrooms even for Associates. Discount is 10% off most items 20% off apparel but 0 if it is an on sale item!!! Little to no opportunities for Full-time.
