Pros
the job itself is fairly easy and it is tolerable if you have friends who work with you as well.
Cons
management does not communicate with one another. you can tell one manager something important (perhaps a schedule change) but do NOT expect them to relay the message to anyone else. management can also be extremely condescending. they act like they are geniuses and you do not even know how to tie your own shoes. coworkers are typically a nightmare. older people tend to tattle on the younger workers for talking to one another. the older workers also complain way too much. customers are a the worst of the bunch. they act like they are entitled. they will treat you like dirt just because you work at kmart. customers think you should know every detail about every product (i.e. are these headphones good? what is the sound like? what type of thread was used to make this shirt?) customers always ask 'do you work here?'.. it is pretty obvious that you work at kmart when you have the uniform, the name tag, the walkie talkie, and a label gun in your hand. the customers just expect way too much and kmart does not train you enough. their computer training is a joke. it does not help you at all.
