A surprisingly rewarding part time job, with adequate working conditions and support from management.

Pros

My store at least rewarded the hard work of associates, albeit simply with praise and small recognition. As with many customer service positions, helping people is its own reward. I was also granted significant days off with never a single hassle over the date or reason.

Cons

Options for financial advancement based on job performance are limited, although it is important to know I only held a part time position. The workload is often surprisingly large.

Schedule, Understaffed stores, Poor communication, Misleading hours when I signed on (salary was based on 48 hour work week and I often worked 60+)

Get to see new products coming out before others. Employee Discount Potential Extra earnings if you manage to get customers to open a credit card.

Cons

You pretty much work by yourself in whatever department you're hired for. Low pay Lots of time on your feet with few breaks.
