No room for growth, money hungry, poor pay, horrible benefits, 7 days off per year, go in during blizzards, hours cut constantly

Love my coworkers, AD and CD. Great families.

Cons

The corporation is the worst. They care more about profit than the kids and staff. Because they dont allow centers to over staff in case of call outs you are expected to work when sick, or drag your own sick kids to work with you despite havine enough paid sick time accrued. Less than living wage, and raises suck.

Pros

Being a lead teacher is really a very rewarding career and an especially important job. KinderCare used to be a wonderful company to work for. I used to be proud to say I worked there but everything changed after they merged with Knowledge Learning many years ago.

Cons

Corporate doesn't value good teachers and treats everyone as though they are expendable. It appears as though their focus is on education and the children, but it's really about numbers and money. Moving children from room to room all of the time is not a good way to help children learn and grow.
