Pros

The work is good and you get decent responsibility and client contact. The training is Ok if you seek it.

Cons

Some the supervising partners are sociopaths, alcoholics or simply have the gift of the gab. Although by no means all or even most but the ones that have these traits appear to be the most successful.

Abysmal pay, little or no prospect of promotion, disgusting etiquette on behalf of large numbers of staff, seemingly deliberate sabotaging of colleagues in attempt to get them fired, Partners who politicise every speech thus ostracising some people.
