Pros

Some good clients and interesting work. Good experience to get better jobs elsewhere.

Cons

Partners in the U.S. are greedy and self-centered with terrible people management skills. There is a lot of attorney turnover, from young associates to newly minted partners to senior partners. The firm is a mill where padding of bills is expected and encouraged, although clients have caught on to the fact that defense spend is higher than other firms.

Pros

The company is always trying to improve and streamline. The job role changes gradually over time, and that seems to be the case across many different roles within the company. There are a fair few perks that they offer you. Gym membership, free fruit, glasses/healthcare vouchers, gift cards every 6 months etc

Cons

The constant shift of responsibilities means that it is hard to get used to things. There is often too much work for the amount of people, and they are always coming up with new jobs and tasks for you to do. This may be common to many companies, but there is only so much time in the day and so a lot of tasks will simply never get done.
