Pros

1. New, modern office in Westminster 2. Opportunities to work with colleagues outside the UK 3. A couple of good senior managers - the client operations director was fair and nice though not many other senior managers were like him unfortunately

Cons

1. Working overtime was very common due to heavy workload - it was a norm to take on too many projects to handle at once 2. Lack of training to gain necessary knowledge to do the job 3. The majority of clients being too demanding and rude - it was very common to get chase up calls, messages and emails from external clients all the time, being shouted at to demand rather impossible deadlines 4. Some toxic managers - there were a couple of inexperienced and pathetic managers who would really struggle to find another job elsewhere. They created a rude, toxic culture where they shoot down people in meetings or ignore team members asking for support. It was not a supportive or comfortable environment to work in 5. Staff turnover was really high. About a third of the team (out of 20-30 people?) had left in my first few months in the company. Before applying to Lightspeed, it might be worth searching for those previous employees on Linked in and asking for their experience at Lightspeed if you don’t want to regret your decision. My mental health was badly affected whilst working for Lightspeed so I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone really.

Pros

Immediate Co-Workers are Great, WFH potential, PTO, Paid Holidays, Benefits.

Cons

PM Salary is Grossly Below Average & Workload is Very High With Unrealistic Expectations. Poor Upper Management & Communication: - Different teams don't communicate well with each other - Upper management doesn't try to facilitate education between teams and on each team's role and how to work together - Lack of understanding perpetuates the issue of work coming in and then becomes the day-to-day workers' task to reset feasibility expectations Competitive Culture & Poor Work Life Balance - Employees work long days, much more than normal workday and lunch is rarely taken due to intensely high workload - Get-the-job-done-no-matter-what mentality. Once told it didn't matter if it was 11 pm on New Year's Eve. Minimal Upward or Lateral Career Advancement: - Talented people get told there is potential for promotion, but the opportunity never actually comes around - The PM role hits a ceiling very quickly, even if you do get promoted

Pros

1) Employee Friendly Policies ,Fun Activity , OBET 2) Suitable for Fresher 3) Work From Home. 4)Transport

Cons

1) 3 month Notice period 2) No Hikes when you got promotion. Only Roles and Responsibility increases but salary (please don't ask ). 3) You can't discuss and raise concern if increment is not given.(You have to accept whatever % increment you got or not) . 4) Earlier if you can work efficiently or meet your target then you can accept good score in quarterly scorecard or report card. Now they have changed all the criteria and made the scorecard in the hand of manager. Manager favor there people. 5) They insecure with other rival company and try to use contract with other company, so employee can't make switch and totally depend on the Office Politics. 6) There is no other companies in Pune for market research professional and they are using this advantage.
