      Client work balance with pressure to sell is extremely difficult

      Pros

      1. Good culture employed by most people (one or two partners are essentially androids and aren't able to see or understand burnout) 2. IF you can get promoted, the salary jumps are reasonable

      Cons

      1. Salary comically low vs other consultancies 2. Payrises of 3.5% borderline offensive given current climate 3. Lots of burnout - employees are expected to just trundle on 4. Some management are very pushy/cut throat and cruel with feedback, others are extremely conflict-averse and nothing gets done. 5. You are vilified if you don't attend work socials or help create initiatives for the culture of the organisation 6. Workforce is extremely middle class - how can we build brands to represent everyone when we represent such a small percentage?

      Millward Brown had heart and soul; Kantar, not so much

      Pros

      Opportunities to work with interesting clients. A few smart and knowledgeable people are still there.

      Cons

      Constant churn in the most senior leadership. Too many people hired in without enough training or experience and don't know what they're doing.

      Old school organisation trying to reinvent itself

      Pros

      The people outside Warwick office are amazing. Lots of talent and skills

      Cons

      It’s a very old school organisation. In particular the Warwick office and old school MB people are very insular and often times very ignorant. So many people are in roles because of their longevity in the business rather than the right skill set. They have removed a lot of diversity within the business. A lot of great left or were pushed. All that is left is those who cannot or do not want to find another job. Racist outbursts from staff is accepted and HR don’t really deal with issues - prefer to handle those who have victims Outsiders are treated like the problem because those who have been there for decades cannot change and don’t have the skills.
