relatively small company, growing fast

Cons

Hired many young employees with education from the most subpar universities in the state to be able to give lower salaries. management promises but cannot deliver. horrible infrastructure, grew too wide too fast. product and service support didn't work right so more time spent fighting fires than being productive or proactive. Some of this probably has been fixed as they spun off their acquisitions over the past few years and refocused.

Pros

If you're straight out of college, you can learn a thing or two about Powerpoint and Excel. Working at MaPS will also give entry level employees a better idea of what they want from an employer and what they want from a career. Plus, there are a lot of young people working here, so you may meet some interesting co-workers.

Cons

MaPS has some of the highest turnover of any company I have seen. Hours are long, the work is awfully tedious, and management tends to be opaque and generally not very much fun to be around. Expect to be in the office for 70% of your waking life and expect to see your friends from the office either quit or get laid off.

Pros

This is a good place to work, management is fair and the talent across the organization is very good. TNS has a strong client list and a good reputation.

Cons

After mergers and being acquired by WPP, many are unsure about the company's future. There is overlap with other WPP businesses so people are unsure about what will get cut and/or merged.
