Pros
Benefits are ok. Generous paid time off. Main campus can be pretty.
Cons
Have to jump through hoops to get discounts on health insurance premiums (state insurance plans.) Can accrue lots of time off, but your unit may be too understaffed for you to use any of it. Parking at the main campus is expensive, and far away if you work in a building in the middle of it. Cannot rely on annual pay increases.
