I work too much for the small amount of money I get and they wouldn't raise my salary. They give us more responsibilities and you would think that with more responsibilities the paycheck is higher but that's not the case

The student-centeredness can be a bit extreme at times. Letting students decide how departments are funded is great in theory, but they don't have the knowledge, context, or awareness to know how their decisions are impacting livelihoods of staff. Some leaders don't demonstrate care/value for staff and programs. Unless they get the enrollment issue figured out, there will be a lot of stressed folks trying to figure out how to manage budgets on campus.
