      You are in academia buzzing with hypothesis and research ideas. Plenty of sources and opportunities for knowledge transfer and research. There is a job safety and stability.

      Cons

      Given current condition of economy there may be funding constraints and career growth opportunities. You are pretty much committed to your job description, position, and place.

      Great part-time work for Student

      Workable hours, not always the same task everyday, relaxed management and if working in the individuals field of study it add a good boot to resume

      Cons

      Above minimal wage, however not extra high, but it does depend on the department the individual is working for, and some weeks no hours are available
