      Pros

      I have learned an amazing amount about controls, fabrication, and real world engineering. The mission of the lab is very cool and tip of the spear on the low flow turbocharger side of things.

      Cons

      The high flow mission seems to be at the end of it's road. It will be interesting to see how the lab changes it's focus to something current in the natural gas industry. The leadership is pretty minimal as well. With one guy running both the operations and personnel, something has to be half done well.

      Pros

      If you are careful to intentionally choose where you would like to work to gain experience as a student, you can make valuable networking relationships and benefit from opportunities through that venue.

      Cons

      You need to be REALLY good at networking to reach your full benefit. The culture of purple is very customer-service oriented and you need to be able to fit in with that.

      Pros

      Friendly people, someone is always around to help. Its a great place for a small town individual to get an education. Easy to get around.

      Cons

      The graduate programs are not very structured. Also if you are used to a city with lots of things to do in your spare time, you will not find as much to do.
