Pros

You get to structure your schedule around your classes, and your managers/supervisors understand when you have tests or reviews. Some desk jobs allow you to study or do homework while at work. Overall general student employment is good for those looking for a few extra dollars and experience. However it would be hard to pay your way through college if you only worked through K-State.

Cons

Minimum wage pay for most entry positions. Hours are limited to 30 a week. Not a lot of room to increase position ranks, as many supervisors are grad students.
