Some are better run than others. - All GTA's are supported in the Division of Biology with salary and a full tuition waiver.

- The department has taken steps to diversify the research interests of their faculty but is still heavily centered around hard ecology. - There is a fair amount of between lab gossip. - The department does not do an adequate job of preparing students for non-academic careers.
