Standard pros for a state university
Cons
If you aren't a student, military, professor, married, or if you don't have children, you will not find much to do here. It's a small town and lots to do for those groups, but not much else if you fall outside of those groups. There's also the uncertainty of having a position at the end of the fiscal year due to state budget cuts. Last year's furlough fiasco left a bitter taste in several people's mouths.
