Executive and management preach and expect employees to abide by their "KPMG Values" of honesty, integrity, etc...but absolutely do not abide by the same values themselves. Management is very "we'll tell you what you want to hear", but actions speak louder than words and they are often in contradiction of one another. Promotion is not based on actual work performance, but by management's word of mouth about you, your ability to be friendly with management, and whether or not you "sell yourself" in the company. It is very much based on how much the review board knows your name and very little on your capabilities and knowledge. "Employee bonus" that some get as a new hire after 3yrs is not totally true. You only get it if you were hired on before a certain date. If you were hired on after that date you get that reward the following year (year 4). Misleading, like a lot of their speak.
