      A good job but not a career

      Pros

      Clean, good benefits, high regard for good behavior. Profanity and sexual language not allowed. Safety is important.

      Cons

      Promotions are few and far and typically only for the sales and marketing teams. Middle managers have been either hired or promoted that do not possess the much needed people skills and leadership skills to solve the problems that arise in a competitive medical market. Then all the workers are expected to endure their bad behaviors and lack of leadership.

      Pros

      Great Staff. They choose people very wisely when adding to the organization. The interview process is intense and averages over a month for most employees with 4-6 rounds of interviews. Fantastic benefits packages available. Great atmosphere and wonderful people. They make sure its a very supportive and engaging environment.

      Cons

      Very strict scheduling, very little wiggle room.

      Pros

      This review is for Karl Storz Endoscopy Canada: Good Company to acquire experience, would recommend for recent Grads or New Comers to Canada. Good place to learn tasks and responsibilities of multiple departments. There are opportunities to get involved in different areas and new projects. If interested in the Medical Industry, this is a good place to start a career. Good team members. Salaries are lower of what offered for same position elsewhere; however, it can be justified as an opportunity to learn and grow your career. Good Education opportunities. Great place for a career kick-off.

      Cons

      Very fast paced environment and extremely busy. Lack of employee recognition or appreciation. No growing opportunities. Big gap between employees and Management, there is not open communication type of culture, employees are not informed of the course the Company is taking. Employee's opinions are not heard.
