Pros

Family atmosphere, mostly friendly and welcoming staff, privately-owned company with longstanding relationships in the medical industry that equates to job stability and potential for higher-paying wages/salary compared with other companies with the same roles. Very structured organization which results in clearly defined roles. Great benefits, couldn't ask for more in that regard. Annual bonuses. Employee high performance is routinely recognized at meetings.

Cons

A lot of mandatory company meetings that sometimes can cut into work flow and result in stress to meet deadlines. There is an unspoken hierarchy. The higher level employee you are the higher floor your office is located. High-level employees only associate with equal-level employees (they won't even say hello if you say hello to them and you are not on their level). If you get in with the right group, you have a good chance of climbing the ladder. The problem is you would have to sacrifice relationships with people on the lower floors.

Co-Workers Work Hard, Some Managers are a joke.

Pros

The President is awesome. Speaks to you when he sees you. Knows you by name. Not to busy to know who you are. Approach him and he will chat with you. Co-workers work hard, with little recognition. Good people.

Cons

Some managers are a joke. Some styles run employees away. You speak up about things and you have a big FAT target on your back. They push out those who do not agree with their style of management. Upper Management doesn't have a clue what's going on. If they simply talk to the employees without the managers I am sure they would be surprised. It's time to allow your employees to evaluate your managers and for upper management to listen to what the little guy or woman has to say. Clean house or lose good people and whole departments. Oh andthere is no work life balance. But hey that's just my opinion. Good Luck!
