It gives you care as well growth opportunities in terms of professional life. The company takes good care of their employees, gives you lot of opportunities to enhance your technical skills for the benefit of the company as well as your career. It also provides good compensation as compared to their competitors. Working culture is very sound.

The Human Resource is very professional. The manager are very understanding. The colleagues are very helpful. One can think of spending long term working with Johnson Matthey at Kronach.

Cons

The carrier opportunities for fresher are very limited. One need to be highly experienced to work in design and development team.

Pros

The company is in the FTSE 100 top companies, which looks good on a CV. There are few perks such as a good pension scheme touching 20%. You also get a free lunch, but not sure how much longer this is going to last for.

Cons

The parking is horrendous and sometimes impossible. There is very little room to progress and little support from management to development individuals. Several newly qualified people didn't get roles in the company who were fantastic candidates, but it seems like new management want to put their own stamp on things, which leaves these individuals no where to go. Don't let the "values" fool you, they are just words with no action. The culture is almost 15 years behind where it should be. If you are not in a management position, you might as well get used to being used and treated like a minion.
