Pros
Wide variety of research oppurtunties for scientists in diverse interesting areas where you can build your expertise. Some good benefits some amazingly talented colleagues. Good work life balance and support for flexible working.
Cons
Poor senior management which struggled to articulate strategy beyond sound bites and that seem to have swallowed the MBA management school dictionary. What used to make this company great were its incredible old school scientists. Odd ball quirky genuises who were allowed to own their own work. Now most of these are either sadly retired, ignored, sidelined, or worse made redundent.
