Pros

You do not feel like there are more superior people than you. You are part of a team and if there is something that you feel needs to be changed then you can raise it without being judged.

Cons

Sometimes as a weekend worker you do get forgotten in terms of training and other stuff. However, management do try their best to keep up.

Pros

Everyone is very friendly and supportive, they really do help you develop as a sales assistant and make your time there as enjoyable as possible. You work harder because you're all in it together, it makes you feel like a family.

Cons

There's a very high expectation for customer service at John Lewis and so you have to constantly maintain that high level of excellent customer service as people may complain in what you provide falls short of this.
