Pros

Fun face placed environment helps the day goes by fast and keeps your body moving. The free travel benefits are addictive :-) A lot of diversity. A great place to work PART TIME.

Cons

Starting salary is horrendous. Very difficult to live off of. Its the perfect job for young people going through college or retired folks who want something to do to keep busy. The happiest and most content employees we're those who worked there PART TIME. Not too much time invested at the airport yet still collecting full travel benefits (aka FREE travel priviledges)... It's very hard to move up in the company unless you "know somebody" and everything is seniority based even if they say it's not.

Pros

Culture Downtime -- at Logan, you would typically get a LOT of downtime. An 8 hour workday was typically about 4-5 hours of actual work. Great breakroom with directv, ping pong, vending machines, computers.. plenty of fast food choices in the airport obviously Training is very thorough and you can always request additional training if you are uncomfortable with anything Lots of overtime opportunities but forced overtime is rare Annual raises Profit sharing Benefits Pay reviews Calling out of work is easy.. just leave a message on a machine. 2 sick days in a row count as 1 sick day Fly free

Cons

Management Occasional mandatory shift extensions Pay is low to start Working in poor weather Strict attendance policy, NO exceptions.. period Vacation hours and sick time are rolled in to one PTO bank
