Pros

- Decent brand to have on - Understand how large bureaucratic company functions - Pay bands are broad, so pay can be competitive if you negotiate correctly

Cons

- Work and culture is not as advertised: - Culture: - Bell curve performance evaluation system isn't followed uniformly across the biz - Extremely hierarchical - Little-to-no transparency across the organization - Work: - There were only a handful of associates left working on Jet.com by July 2019. Many Jet.com postings are actually Walmart.com jobs. It's unfortunate that HR continues advertise Walmart.com jobs under the guise of a 'nimble-agile-startup'. - There are several instances of associates being transferred to new business units with little-to-no-say in the matter. - Poor work-life-balance for the majority of teams. Optics appear to matter a lot in the Walmart world.

Pros

Great Team building activities, managers feed on Wednesdays, great yearly events

Cons

Once they were bought out by Walmart, the direction was changed from a family feel to demanding feel. More demands on production and less about employees
