Most incredible and smart people you will ever meet. Opportunities to learn are at every corner because of the talent and brain power that is fostered here. The culture that has remained intact since the acquisition. Many feared we wouldn't be able to keep true to what makes us Jet. This has stayed and I hope will stay for time to come (the way we laugh, the parties, the snacks, the surprises, etc.). The pure willpower to continue to shape eCommerce through every avenue.

Cons

Communication can lack, but also is to be expected when moving at lightning speed, but finding a way to communicate changes (even when they change overnight) would be helpful.

Pros

Great work environment with plenty of opportunities to move up the ladder. Decent benefits and good pay for such a position. The people are very supportive and friendly. The building is modern and clean.

Cons

Just a bit too much micromanagement although some employees may as well need it.

I agree that we have supportive peers and everyone here is friendly. We never want someone to feel micromanaged. Our goal is to empower and trust people to fulfill their day to day work without micromanaging. Each leader and team will differ in the amount of autonomy they give to each employee. As such, it is important to calibrate with your leader to help him/her understand how you are feeling.
