Pros

If you like slow moving traditional engineering consulting and don’t want to advance your career then maybe this is an OK place to work

Cons

Company is very large and bureaucratic Leaders are unable to make timely decisions Company culture is very stale and does not promote solving problems 401K program is not competitive. I was at Jacobs for 15 months (plus 16 years previously at CH2M that was acquired by Jacobs) and was not eligible for any company match on my 401K contributions Annual leave is poor Does not recognize time spent at acquired companies Promotes itself as a digital company but does not embrace or invest in digital solutions for it’s clients Does not present career advancement opportunities for high performers and as such loses it’s best employees Employees cannot talk to HR about issues

Pros

Big company, diverse projects, tools to do the job. I fact lately it's all been about diversity and inclusiveness.....

Cons

No severance when work runs out, your experience only counts while you have paying work. Not a good place to work if your'e a white experienced male no matter how good you are at you job.

Pros

pay check every 2 weeks

Cons

Stockholder driven company. "the culture of caring" is a joke they do NOT care about the employees. You are nothing but a number to make management a bonus. Clients are treated horribly and relationships destroyed. Jacobs has adopted the Microsoft method of just buying up a company to get new clients since no one really want to work with them. The management invents new methods to make work harder, lest productive and more chaotic. Shockingly quality suffers, clients pull work and management wonders why. the new "global talent market strategy" is merely Jacobs outsourcing US jobs for cheaper lower quality labor. Global integrated delivery means less jobs for US workers. This company has no values and poor benefits.
