Pros

1. Great people. 2. Offered some interesting project opportunities. 3. Jacobs seems to be growing.

Cons

1. Like many large companies, Jacobs proclaims employees as their most important resource, but falls short of demonstrating that statement. This is a problem not just with Jacobs, but with most conglomerate companies today.

Pros

Jacobs offers a flexible schedule. Instead of having separate sick leave, all time off is put in a PTO category, so if you don't get sick, you get an extra week of vacation each year.

Cons

There's no room for advancement. Management is incompetent, and most have no management skills to speak of... There is incredible disparity in salaries. When problems arise, they believe assigning more extremely highly paid people at it to fix it, and when those individuals fail to help matters at all, nothing is done.
