Luxurious property but opposite benefits for the staffs
Pros
The culture, brand and trainings. Some supportive leaders.
Cons
Praises of words only or a pat in the back that does not really have value to feed you or give extra bucks in your wallet instead of giving something that can be used by the employee when achieving something. Heavy emphasis on guest satisfaction scores and numbers but underpaid and overworked 10 hours or more. Accommodation is really old, unhygienic, bad quality for a luxurious property with 3 people sharing a small unit, sharing kitchen and wash room per floor for entry level. No work-life balance. Duty meals does not have good quality on a regular basis only when there are some occasions. Free transportation is old, late (which eats up your time to be in the hotel more than 10 hours) driven by reckless drivers. Just because you work in a luxury 5-star hotel doesn’t mean your staff perks are ultra-luxury.
