Pros

Professional and dedicated colleagues Strong team spirit and collaborative environment - people are always willing to support each other Very positive personal experience with my current manager, and good management overall Responsible executive leadership - no layoffs even during tougher times in the industry

Cons

As a large organization, management quality can vary between teams and departments Cross-team collaboration can sometimes be slow, and processes may differ depending on the teams involved Company events, happy hours, and perks have improved significantly, but there’s still room for further investment

The Codex: Rules for you, but not for management

Pros

The product itself is pretty interesting, and the company isn’t in a terrible spot overall. That said, like a lot of companies in this space, AI will shake things up over time. Most of the individual contributors are solid and easy to work with, and there are definitely some strong teams within the company. The culture/people team puts together good events and does a nice job creating moments for employees to connect.

Cons

There’s a lot of micromanagement, and it really starts at the top and flows down through the whole org. They push a strict three-days-a-week office policy, even though many of the managers enforcing it are remote themselves. The messaging around it is pretty inconsistent. When it comes to letting people go, they often operate in legal gray areas. People can be dismissed pretty suddenly and without warning, which creates a culture where people are constantly on edge. Who you know seems to matter more than the actual quality of your work. Networking and internal relationships carry a lot of weight. Some of the VPs have a pretty heavy-handed leadership style. The culture is very openly pro-Israel, and it can feel like expressing a different view—or even hinting at disagreement—could come with professional risk.

Pros

Strong culture based on team work, transparency, and a customer-first mindset Good benefits that you don't hear of often these days Travel

Cons

Don't jump in and try to re-invent the wheel - listen, learn, be open to their way of doing things, and then make small changes when you've proven yourself
