Pros

- product is good, but market is getting crowded

Cons

- Culture is the biggest problem in the sales org / company. Fear based leadership, the only reason a lot of the sales team continues to work here is because they are trapped by RSUs. - No redeeming qualities from sales leadership. Hard to work for someone you don’t respect. - extreme micromanagement. Their way or the highway… literally - 2 day paternity leave (gives you an insight into their philosophy around the holidays) - compensation plans don’t align with business objectives

Pros

People overall seem nice. The product (Artifactory only) is good . A place to dip your toes in sales.

Cons

Company does not value its sales people. As they say themselves, “The Product sells itself.” Hence, you are dispensable. Lots of micro management and poor forecasting since the key way to sell, is through promotions. It’s a very transactional based business with no channel sales. Sales team is a rotating door or you have people who are too lazy to leave OR their first time on sales who think this is normal. This is not normal. Culture is poor—no DB&I programs. I think someone else summed it up well: it’s a lot of clapping of hands. Disregard for time, e.g. lots of 4:30 PM PT meetings on a Thursday or Friday. Poor East Coast folks. Product roadmap and R&D is poor—lightyears behind a lot of startups. They have Artifactory down but not much else.
