Pros

I cant think of one

Cons

Filthy locker rooms they spray for lice ect. once a month. They just spray everything down with a hose. The lockers are rusty. They treat employees especially those with little understanding of English quite badly. I made it the days. The third day I was sent to the ground beef area. Very cold and dark. Disgusting scraps of beef coming down the line, Green meat, yes green meat. Small chunks of dry ice mixed in. Fork lifts running back and forth behind you. I told the trainer I had thin ankle socks on and she said oh put on your boots and you will be fine. I was dressed in a Tshirt and jeans . She brought me a freezer coat and said I would be fine. I was giver latex gloves like the nurses wear . and a pair of thin gloves. The supervisor came buy and said oh you cant wear those, did you get your hands wet? Of course I did the gloves ripped 5 minutes after I started. He said I will bring you some. I didn't see him again. An hour later it was break. My feet were cramping and once I got into the light of the hallway I noticed my fingers were white. I went to the locker room tried to take off my boots but my feet were so cold they cramped hard when I tried to pull them out. I got them off finally got changed and with me feet cramping headed to the exit. A trainer saw me and said where do you think your going? Standing in front of me I guess trying to intimidate me. I guess he figured out that I wasn't a refugee so this probably wasn't going to work . I left and never looked back. Why did I dress the way I did you may ask? I was supposed to be in the classroom all day. They sent a woman with me she didn't speak English. I watched as she struggled with her freezing hands trying to do a job that nobody could explain to her. I wonder if she is alright. Do not work for this company .

Pros

Fancy new corporate office building, excellent location, most employees are friendly. Discounted purchases of meat! Benefits are pretty good.

Cons

-Below market salaries for lower level positions -Sketchy accounting practices -A management team from Brazil that thinks they can make their own rules, with little regard towards American laws and business practices -Lots of knee jerk business decisions, and big ego's

Pros

- Beautiful campus with great cafeteria that offers breakfast and lunch with variety and reasonable price. - Overall efficient process and procedures with good quality of technology and tools. - The company/executives do put effort in responding to negative management in some departments by recruiting more competent and fairer managers.

Cons

- Below average wages and salaries in the area. - Horrible management in some departments who don't have the balls to stand up for employees but threaten to fire employees or straight up yell at employees if they make them look bad and worst of all, 10 out of 10 times would throw employees under the bus in any confrontation with other departments to save the trouble. Even though the situations do improve somehow but it takes too long the response time and damages already done to good employees. - In some departments, hard work and accomplishments don't matter. People that don't deliver any significant result but are skilled at flattering managers shamelessly get promoted over real talents. Some real talents who refuse to flatter managers get stuck in one position, can't move up, can't move down, can't move out, struggle until finally leaving.
