Pros

Good coworkers. Discount on meat products processed at the plant.

Cons

Low pay for heavy workload; benefits reduced across the board after JBS bought the plant from Cargill. Disrespectful upper management that will cuss people out and then send line workers to HR for using profanity. Lousy role models. Lots of mandatory overtime to increase the plant's production, but the company doesn't want to pay you a nickel for your time during that production. It's all about a huge profit for the company and crap wages for the workers. Used to be a great place to work years ago. Nobody wants to help out the workers, not even when you take your complaint to HR. Too many people in jobs they got because they're related to somebody or they grew up together in Beardstown. It's a pork processing plant with a bunch of chickens running around with their heads cut off.
