Pros

mobility, secure, reliable because it is a big bank you get to meet alot of people and that is good for networking

Cons

impersonal, need to move around for pay - i guess you need to be in the market for market salary.

Pros

Very stable organization that does communicate very well to it's employees and has a very good benefits package. Depending on the area worked, opportunities for regular advancement are readily available

Cons

Compensation is not as competitive with other similar organizations, but the total benefits package offered by the company (esp. vacation) seems to be a little better than most other employers of the same caliber.

Pros

Most of the time you will inherit a book of business. Very conservative mix of investment products to sell. Large company with good benefits.

Cons

Must work two Saturdays per month. Can sell only one life insurance product and no long term care. Must be top producer to have administrative help. High turnover in financial advisor role and no indications that will change anytime soon.
