Pros

Senior engineers are good people, typically pretty knowledgeable. Can easily maneuver obstacles if one is good with networking. There are some good managers in Chase but they're mostly low level managers that cannot drive real change.

Cons

Forced Rankings - You have to compete with your manager for your raise. If he wants a raise / bonus - he just bumps you down on the list. Year-end reviews are a joke. It's not based on what you did for the year. It's based on where upper management dictates you be put on the list. No cost of living adjustments. Lack of Management "Backbone". first level management not allowed to staff up appropriately. They scrape the bottom of the barrel for staff, consequently morale falls throughout the teams. SR. Engineers get upset that they cannot assume a basic level of knowledge among the operate staff. Customers get upset because the operate staff is pointing them to all sorts of inaccurate resolutions. To much infighting between teams. Considerable amount of time spent "reorganizing" and not enough time spent analyzing shortcomings. Processes and procedures hard to follow or missing completely.

Pros

* Good Infrastructure and facilities * Cab facility * Intra and Inter Lob sports competitions like cricket, table tennis etc

Cons

* Here outings are for the leadership who come from US. It's all about how to impress them but not about employees. What they like, where they would like to go. Its their holiday. * This company is so stingy, they can't even give a office bag with their logo. Only new joins are given office bags. * They give toffees worth Rs 10($.12) after standing in long queue as part of employee appreciation week. * Worst thing is discrimination between US and India employees. Paying low salary to Indian employees I can understand but giving $ 300 for well ness of US employees and 0 to Indian employees is really bad. Never seen such a company in my life.

Pros

-Almost every piece of software you can imagine is available to you, including AI -Most Associates and above get 4 weeks paid vacation plus bank holidays -Industry leader in banking technology -Challenging work environment teaches you to quickly hone your social engineering skills to get work done

Cons

-Almost no collegial atmosphere due to the vast workload, it's always the next sprint, next release, next initiative. -Standing out amongst your fellow employees from a performance perspective seems to be only the beginning of steps to get promoted. If you don't network or directly get seen by senior leaders due to some extraordinary effort or initiative, you won't move up. -New Return to Office policies are outdated and even archaic for tech workers. If we're on zoom even while in the office, and we work long hours to meet deadlines that make the company money, then what's the point of the additional burden? Hybrid, fine. 5 days in office is just punitive.
