Pros

-Good research firm -Projects can be quite interesting -Good way to build basic skills -Lots of review and feedback on how you're doing -Possible to move up to a decent hourly wage if you're a good interviewer -Provides good insight into research methods

Cons

-Employment loophole gives you basically no rights. You do not get sick days or holidays. You will not be guaranteed continuing work. You must pay a fiver for your security pass. -Absolutely no room for error (ex. you will get a talking to if you log into the system 90 seconds late) -Feedback is constant, but not consistent. What one supervisor thinks is a big problem, another might not even mention. -Becomes very boring -Computer system is outdated and badly designed -You will often be talking to people who do not want to be talking to you (But, this is a good skill to have!) -Everything you do is controlled; not allowed to have drinks at workstations, cell phones must be turned off, breaks must be taken at specific times (to the minute), not allowed to do anything like read the paper or knit while waiting for new call to come up, etc.

Pros

Excellent training, has an excellent reputation in the industry. Very relaxed corporate culture, lots of vacation time and extra holidays given. Has not had any lay offs in years, even during the economic crisis.

Cons

Excellent training but only employees who deal directly with clients are really valued, no one else seems to matter. Long hours which are not really appreciated unless again you're directly in contact with the clients.
