Pros

Ipsos is now the 3rd largest survey-based market research company in the world, with offices in over 80 countries. During my employment at Ipsos in North America, I found that the company really values its employees and provides opportunities for learning and growth, and promotion. I started part-time in the call centre and after 2 months had moved to a full-time hourly position in another department. 5 years later I was full-time salaried and each year gained a very good salary raise, as well as bonus. The company shares its success with its employees. In addition, the company's management is VERY much on board with being transparent and sharing as much company information with all employees as possible. This includes weekly digital newsletters, and quarterly "town hall" meetings within North America which involved each office dialing into a conference call being lead by the NA CEO, updating everyone on the successes and challenges the company was facing, etc. The worldwide company HQ also conducts employee online surveys every 2 years. There are also opportunities to gain employment in other Ipsos offices around the world, depending on the kind of position you hold and your desire to grow further within the company. The company offers competitive wages and excellent benefits. Even though they are now a massive company worldwide, the company strongly values entrepreneurial spirit and innovation, and all employees feeling comfortable voicing their opinions. I would highly recommend Ipsos.

Cons

It can be a fast-paced work environment, which can be stressful. The company wants each employee to strive for a work/life balance, but (depending on your role in the company), this can sometimes be difficult to achieve because the work can be demanding and the global nature of the company can sometimes lend itself to being "plugged in" to work outside of regular business hours.
