Pros

Great work atmosphere, friendly senior staff, talented staff, some interesting work.

Cons

Some extremely dull work, long hours for which you are not recognised, poor pay. Opaque promotions and pay review process - it can be recognised that you hit all your targets for promotion/pay incentives and still not be recognised. If you hit your targets ahead of time, they don't reward your achievement, just give you another target. Everyone is overworked so that deliverables are rarely of the highest quality deliverable by what are a group of very talented researchers.

challenging in more ways than one

Pros

Specialization approach is perfect for beginners who want a head start into a specific area of knowledge. For senior positions constant contact with Clients - among which top global players - is a challenge and an inspiration.

Cons

work hours are in the uncountable domain. You're expected to finish your tasks no matter how long it takes. Bottom line tends to drive, but it can be challenged

Pros

People are overall very nice to work with and the company will invest in your education if you want to study for an accountancy qualification. Finance teams do arrange meals and team events.

Cons

Do not expect to be promoted or recommended if your work is good as the upper management do not look at your quality of work or the suitability of yourself. Do not expect to make a career here as it is based more on whether you get along with the management staff and whether they like your personality and your ability to get along with them as opposed to the performance of your work. Upper management work off favoritism rather than your individual performance or quality of work. Your work can be poor or average standard but if you get along with management then you are likely to get a promotion. Also a lot of internal politics and micromanagement in the work place to the point where it will dampen your morale. Expect to do a lot of overtime with little appreciation from upper management.
