Pros
At Intuitive, there are experts in all fields open to sharing their knowledge and help you improve your work. I have been impressed with the technical minds of everyone I worked with, as well as the larger vision of more senior level people. Everyone is kind to each other and passionate about the work they are doing. The da Vinci is definitely one of most interesting and complex systems one can work on, especially as a mechanical engineer.
Cons
Since most people have advanced degrees, there aren't many young employees (early-mid 20's), and the physical offices aren't the most desirable in comparison to other tech in SV.
