Pros

Hiring process is more focused on character than experience, which is good for entry-level positions Potentially great stepping stone to other technical careers Room for growth(manufacturing trainer, lead/supervisor roles, offline/engineering technician etc) Great for people who eat sleep and breathe work

Cons

(Depending on the line)Long hours with mandatory overtime, which usually isn't announced until near the end of the shift. Lack of communication from supervisors. Very strict attendance and quality policies, especially for temporary hires, which every new hire starts as. Requesting time off earlier than three weeks in advance is difficult. Shifts can start as early as 5:00, 4:30 or earlier, depending on business needs. Again this is dependent on where you're assigned.

Pros

There is significant opportunity to add immediate value, to be heard and to have your ideas be implemented. The teams are true dedicated, true professionals who understand the importance of partnering to achieve common goals. There is also a great level of respect and trust displayed in others, and the importance of doing the "right thing" by all who are impacted by our company.

Cons

Scaling for high-growth has been painful. The long hours are often not sustainable, there is a true sense of burnout, and the systems and processes can sometimes take a while to get up to speed with the actual growth. More recent management additions to our team haven't aligned with the culture we've always valued, and this is concerning that we're hiring the "wrong" people because we're moving much too fast.
