Pros

People are friendly and very nice in all orgs. Benefits are great. Company tries to have parties and do nice things for employees. Bonus for high performers is great. Good gender diversity. Work/life balance is excellent. Great company to retire at.

Cons

Pay is bad. RSUs are OK. There is a select group of individuals who drive all technical decisions for the sake of making a technical decision.. Very little racial diversity in the engineering organizations. Hardly any white, black or oriental. Almost exclusively Indians across QA and dev. Vertical movement within company is hard.

Pros

Hard to come up with any at this time. Other than the other people at the place, that is one of the last reasons I am still there.

Cons

Sweat Shop for minimal pay You are just here until they can train somebody in the Bangalore office to do your job, and then you are on the next bus out. Not a chance in hell for advancement. Management seems to have no clue what direction they are going and don't seem to be worried about that at all.

Pros

Lots of fun, interesting, positive people working in relatively small teams. They're the ignored heart of the company. Products like QuickBooks and Turbotax throw off lots of revenue so they company continues to grow.

Cons

Smiling, insincere leaders who say they're committed to technology and innovation but don't understand what any of that means. Lots of architects who advocate this or that technology, producing lots of slide decks that get them promoted to the next level. But none of it ever happens.
