toxic culture, poor management, lack of vision. top down dictatorship aiming at short term political gains rather than long term capability building. echo chamber. many talents driven out either through layoff or out of disappointment

Pros

- Amazing benefits - Good Technical Work and great tools

Cons

Not a fun work place. Starting virtually at Intuit is huge problem. A very hostile environment in team. Manager doesn’t give a constructive feedback but rather a Discouraging feedback so either you resign or get terminated within 90 days of joining. Not a place to start as fresh graduate with no internship experience at Intuit. It's very tough, depressing place to work. Not supposed to ask questions, use slack where no one replies, just sit quiet for 8 hours. Highly micromanaged. HR doesn’t take action even if told that the employee is suffering in the team. It's been told that sponsorship is given but the manager due to personal dislike puts the visa sponsorship on hold after getting selected in lottery.

Pros

Shares, health insurance, and a pretty office.

Cons

This place is one of the most toxic environments that seems quite shiny at first, appears supportive and encourages you to 'bring your whole self to work' whereas in actual fact you need to be a master of corporate politics, manipulation and jargon if you truly want to thrive. There is lots of number fudging to appease the US mothership, zero accountability, no targets are met, the brand value is diminished with ridiculous sales offers, scapegoats are used to cover mismanagement, and lots of people mysteriously disappear as they've been paid to leave and keep quiet. Leadership are constantly changing 'strategy' and there is no clear concise direction at all. It was the worst mistake joining this company - I thought I'd landed a dream job and drank the cool-aid for a while. Boy that wears off. and they sure as hell never once lived by their values. ' Integrity without compromise' lol!!! A goat has more integrity. It's a shame, apparently this is a good company in other countries.
