No longer a great place to work

Pros

Good pay, good benefits, perks like free snacks, coffee, gym. Usually will cater food

Cons

Senior Management shift which has done several layoffs this year. Teams are left with no plan on going forward. People are quitting over the stress and no one has been happy in several months. This is no longer the company that Brad Smith had imagined. He is leaving and it's not the same. With less staff its going to be harder to make customers a focus. Outsourcing and contracting out is not going to cut it.

Pros

Benefits and work life balance is great and basically the only pro for working at Intuit. Notice the trend that most people will give good ratings for benefits and work-life balance but if you are seeking more Intuit is not the place.

Cons

So much politics in this place. Managers are not looking to grow their people and help them achieve their goals. Instead, managers view their team as resources to get them their own promotion. Want to do something new or innovative? That is discouraged. Intuit follows the status quo and does what every other tech company is doing. This flows down to management where you are encouraged to just do what you are told. Looking for comfy job? Intuit is the place. If you actually want to drive change while learning and growing at a fast pace Intuit is not the place for you.

Pros

401K and stocks, Cal train, gym and some perks

Cons

Lot of Indians - No balance in diversity. Company has direction but the management is miserable. The management process is abusive, hate to see how individual performers are treated. They give good employees mediocre overall ratings because of politics and stack ranking.
