Pros

If you really don't go and beg for work, you can just sit in a corner doing nothing all day and you will still get paid. Management will ignore any unacceptable behavior as long as you make money for the company.

Cons

I spend over 6 months doing "ABSOLUTELY" nothing before I was provided with any sort of training. Management have no clue of what they do. I had to go begging for any sort of work or training. There were days where I literally fell asleep staring at my laptop all day but having nothing to do. Management has zero knowledge about engineering procedures and values. "Experienced" (old fashioned) engineers refuse to adopt to new engineering requirements and management never takes any action against this. Use too many short cuts to increase revenue and by-pass standard requirements.

Pros

PTO = 4 weeks. Okay benefits. And that's a rap.

Cons

There is not enough room. Managers who are friends with lab owners that sold out to Intertek or that grew up within the lab sold to Intertek. No competence -- from the top down. It's horrible. No women. No minorities. If you read this and go in for an interview -- take a GOOD look around. Who and what do you see? Outdated lab equipment. Better equipment exists within the companies they do testing for -- than at their own facilities. If you see a bunch of great reviews...think, did HR write them. Read a lot of reviews and read between the lines. Only take a job here if you are absolutely desperate. It's like selling your soul. You will never be the same.

Pros

Vacation Risky fun Starting salary Cute young guys Cute middle aged guys

Cons

Lack of professionalism rampant. If you're a family-oriented woman, expect to feel uncomfortable daily. You will hear and see risky behavior and be aggressively shut-out if you show concern for yourself or others. They do not want you there. Take the job for the money, but never stop looking for another job. They intend to make your firing hidden in their high turnover. Sink or swim mentality and immature leadership. High quota, yet no training. Really, none.
